 Central Florida Behavioral Hospital’s Adult psychiatric
program is a specialized level of care designed to meet
the unique needs of individuals 18 years and older who
are experiencing high levels of dysfunction and severe
psychiatric problems. The overall goal of the program is
to achieve a level of reintegration or stabilization as
rapidly as possible. The Inpatient Program purpose is to
promote the maximum cognitive, social, physical,
behavioral, and emotional development in each of our
patients while in an atmosphere of respect and with the most caring
and efficient manner possible.
Each area of issues
will be thoroughly evaluated and treated by our
multidisciplinary treatment team, composed of
psychiatrists, registered nurses, mental health
counselors, social workers, recreational therapists, and
mental health technicians. All therapies attend to the
specific strengths and weaknesses of each patient and
are designed to promote feelings of increased self-worth
and self-control.
